My love for writing coalesced with entrepreneurship as I began writing my blog - eStylista which went on to become POPxo. In 2014, I moved back to India to launch POPxo, envisaged as a safe and engaging community helping Indian women lead their best lives
MY JOURNEYso far
I am the Co-founder of Good Glamm Group and Founder & CEO of POPxo-Plixxo. In 2020, my life comes a full circle. After the successful merger with MyGlamm, amidst precarious Corona times, I have moved back to my favourite city with my husband and two children - my inspiration and my strength. It’s good to be back - even though it means waking up at 5 am to start the work day with the Good Glamm team in India.
My early years…
I was born in a small village in Punjab (Northern India). At the age of 6, I began my schooling at an all-girls boarding school - CJM Waverley. I completed my schooling at yet another all-girls boarding school VDJS, Hisar and went on to read English Literature at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi.
Moving to London…
In 2001, I graduated, got married, moved to London and began my career as a freelance writer. My 20s were a whirlwind - hosting charity and art events, contributing to and editing publications, investing in early stage companies and Modern Indian Art - with a busy family and social life as the hectic backdrop.
From blogging to founding POPxo...
As we worked with hundreds of brands on their marketing campaigns, the breakthrough of Influencer Marketing in India seemed imminent. So, we began building a tech-enabled platform to leverage this massive opportunity. In 2017, Plixxo was launched. It nurtured India's first generation of influencers - cheering them on as they truly came into their own.
POPxo-Plixxo Merges With MyGlamm
2020 was a landmark year. POPxo-Plixxo merged with MyGlamm - India’s leading beauty conglomerate and I joined MyGlamm as Co-founder & President, while continuing on as Founder & CEO of POPxo-Plixxo. Donning these dual hats, I now focus on areas that form my core strengths - content creation, digital & influencer marketing & PR, brand development, and team building. Building brands with a special focus on community is what I am most passionate about.
The Formation of Good Glamm Group
In September 2021, with the formation of Good Glamm Group, I became the Co-founder. The Good Glamm Group is a digital-first house of brands that brings together innovative and fast-growing beauty and personal care companies. With a vision to become the ‘Digital CPG Conglomerate of the Future’, the Good Glamm Group has earmarked USD 100 million to scale and acquire and build brands that millions of users will love.
The Formation Of Good Creator Co
Good things happen when great creator brands come together. Plixxo, MissMalini, Winkl, and Vidooly join hands to launch The Good Creator Co. - India’s Largest Creator Ecosystem. It will empower millions of creators to scale up and be financially independent as well as offer the easiest solution for brands to work with creators at scale. The Good Glamm Group has seed invested Rs 200 cr in The Good creator Co. With the launch of the Good Creator Co - something we dreamt of as Plixxo has now evolved into a creator ecosystem, and we are another step closer to realising the Good Glamm Group vision for content and creators coming together with commerce.
BACK TO SCHOOL(Part-time!)
An Executive MBA at Columbia and London Business School is the perfect way for me to consolidate and reflect on my journey so far, learn (and maybe re-learn) skills and concepts with a stellar peer-group and make meaningful connections. As it is a part-time degree - I get to apply new knowledge and skills in real-time everyday at POPxo - Plixxo - MyGlamm.

INVESTING INBlockchain & Crypto
With blockchain, we are at a new frontier in technology - it will have an immeasurable impact on our digital lives. As an advisor to ground- breaking companies like Polkarare and a seed investor in Kalamint - I am learning so much. A parallel world is in the making - exciting times!
As an angel investor, I have advised and supported several young companies in the hospitality, technology and media sectors including Bea's of Bloomsbury (food & hospitality, acquired by an American buyer), Raptor (industrial supplies marketplace, on-going), Sound Out (audio branding, on-going), Llustre (home goods marketplace, acquired by FAB). I continue to mentor and advise founders with a special interest in supporting female entrepreneurs.
INVESTING INModern Indian Art
There is something special in the seminal works of modern Indian artists like Tyeb Mehta, S.H. Raza, MF Hussein, and F.N. Souza. Built a collection that, at first, was overlooked by mainstream collectors but ultimately was profitably sold at Christie’s first auction in India.
