I am always on the go - having been at the burnt out stage at several points over the years, pacing myself is the best form of self-care I can practice! You’re in it for the long haul! Don’t exhaust yourself over every and anything you do. Take your time, take it slow, when you need to!

I am constantly fighting it.A company is nothing without the amazing people who power it. 💪🏼Give them the right tools and resources and they'll create the magic.Make sure you’re taking your people on your journey of growth, that’s the only way a team can sustain.

We cannot control other people's actions

Till I truly believed in this - I was always depending on someone or something to make me happy. It was not working!Other people's actions are out of our control but we can make it a point to be mindful of our reaction (for our own sanity!!)

For the longest time I looked to other people for my happiness.Things they did or did not do dictated how I felt. Over the years I realised that happiness is a choice - MY CHOICE.If someone were to do something that I did not like - I can choose how to react - this in turn dictates how I feel.We cannot control other people’s actions. But we can control our reaction.As much as possible - I choose happiness every time :)

Take a breath. It's going to be ok.

We all try and do so much all the time. It gets exhausting. Especially now when we are coping with the pandemic.We need to press pause - if only for a moment. Take some time to acknowledge the many feelings swirling in our hearts.We need to believe that it is going to be okay. Eventually. Hold on to that hope. And take all the precautions we can.⁣

Be there for your loved ones, especially now. Ask them if they're okay, know what's going on with them and help them when they need it. Kindness and love, the two most important things we need right now.
